Food is an important part of the healing process at our UK retreat. Meals are prepared according to Ayurvedic principles and guided by our Ayurveda doctors. Our kitchen creates balanced dishes that support digestion and steady energy, helping you feel nourished and supported throughout your programme.

Our meals follow authentic Ayurvedic cooking principles, using fresh ingredients and traditional preparation to support balance and wellbeing. You will enjoy a variety of vegetable-based dishes, legumes, soups, and herbal preparations, with some meals influenced by Sri Lankan flavours such as dahl, beetroot curry, chickpea curry, and mallum.

You can also learn a selection of our recipes during afternoon cooking classes, or take home our Ayurveda cookbook to continue your journey.

Your meals are designed to support digestion, energy, and balance throughout the day. Breakfast is light and nourishing, often including warming porridges, banana pancakes or chia seed pudding with fruits, seeds and homemade granola.

Lunch is the main meal of the day, typically consisting of rice, two Sri Lankan vegetable curries, and greens or salad. In the evening, our menu offers a gentle blend of Ayurveda and familiar flavours, such as plant-based shepherd’s pie or vegetable-based dishes with coconut, quinoa, and greens, creating a comforting yet balanced end to your day.

A welcoming space for shared meals and quiet connection.

Meals are served in the farmhouse dining room, where you come together in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Large windows look out onto the surrounding garden, creating a calm atmosphere for each meal. The space encourages mindful eating, gentle conversation, and connection with others on a similar wellbeing journey.
